yamamayuについて



yamamayuは、1894年創業の染織工房です。
八王子の織屋からはじまり、現在は山梨の山あいで、家族で布づくりを続けています。

繭に触れ、真綿を広げ、糸を紡ぎ、染め、織る。
天蚕、家蚕、絹真綿、季節の草木、選び抜いた染料、木製手織り機や昭和初期の力織機を用い、素材から向き合う布づくりを行っています。

一枚ごとに異なる布が、日々の装いと暮らしに静かな余韻を添えられたらと思っています。

作品展での出会いを大切にしながら、オンラインでは現在お選びいただける作品、道具、ワークショップを少しずつご紹介しています。



About yamamayu



Founded in 1894, yamamayu is a family-run textile studio that began in Hachioji and now works in the quiet mountains of Yamanashi, Japan.

We work from the origin of textiles: cocoons, silk mawata, spinning, dyeing, and weaving. Our pieces are shaped by Tensan wild silk, domestic silk, seasonal plants, selected dyes, wooden handlooms, and vintage power looms.

Each textile carries its own expression, bringing a quiet presence to daily wear and living spaces.

While exhibitions remain important, this online shop offers a small selection of works, tools, and workshops from the yamamayu studio.

Shopping Guide 購入に関する注意事項

ご注文
多くは一点物です。Studio作品は再制作可能な場合があります。受注制作・予約品は各商品ページ記載の時期に発送します。

お支払い
BASEで選択可能な方法に対応しています。決済時期はBASEの案内に従います。

発送
在庫品はご入金確認後3〜7営業日以内を目安に発送します。送料は購入時にご確認ください。

返品・交換
お客様都合の返品・交換・キャンセルは原則不可。破損・不良・誤配送は到着後7日以内にご連絡ください。

ワークショップ
キャンセル料は7日前まで無料、6〜3日前50％、2日前〜当日・無断は100％です。空きがある場合、1回まで日程変更を承ります。

お手入れ
中性洗剤で単独手洗いし、陰干ししてください。漂白剤・蛍光剤は不可。天然素材や草木染めは光や摩擦で変化します。

Orders / Payment
Most works are one of a kind. Payment follows BASE checkout methods.

Shipping / Returns
In-stock items ship within 3–7 business days after payment. Customer returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not accepted. For damage, defects, or incorrect items, contact us within 7 days.

Workshops / Care
Workshop cancellation fees: free up to 7 days before, 50% from 6–3 days before, 100% from 2 days before, same day, or no-show. Hand wash separately and dry in the shade.

  • Q.色は写真と同じですか？ / Will the color match the photos?
    A.写真はできるだけ実物に近い色で撮影していますが、表示環境や光の状態により、色味が異なって見える場合があります。自然素材ならではの個体差も、布の表情としてお楽しみください。
    Photos are taken to show the color as closely as possible, but tones may vary depending on screen settings and lighting. Natural variations are part of each textile’s character.

  • Q.贈り物として送れますか？ / Can I send it as a gift?
    A.はい、贈り物としてもお選びいただけます。ラッピングやお届け先についてご希望がある場合は、ご注文時に備考欄へご記入ください。
    Yes, our pieces can be sent as gifts. If you have requests for wrapping or delivery, please leave a note at checkout.
  • Q.ケア方法は？ / How do I care for it?
    A.中性洗剤でやさしく単独手洗いし、陰干ししてください。詳しいお手入れ方法は各商品ページに記載しています。
    Hand wash gently and separately with mild detergent, then dry in the shade. Care details are listed on each product page.

  • Q.受注制作の納期は？ / What is the lead time for made-to-order items?
    A.通常2〜4週間を目安にしています。内容や制作状況により前後する場合があります。
    Made-to-order items usually take 2–4 weeks. Timing may vary depending on the design and our studio schedule.

  • Q.海外発送は可能ですか？ / Do you ship internationally?
    A.A.
    はい、海外発送も承ります。関税・輸入税等はお受取人様のご負担となります。
    Yes, we ship internationally. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
