糸紡ぎ棒は、バリ島の職人の手仕事によって一本一本つくられた木製のスピンドルです。
手に馴染む木の質感と、円盤部分に施された木彫りの模様が特徴です。

真綿は、yamamayuの工房で草木を用いて染めた絹真綿を、少しずつ色を取り合わせてご用意します。
自然の色は一色ずつ表情が異なり、紡ぐたびに少しずつ混ざり合い、思いがけない色の糸が生まれます。

紡いだ糸は、小さな織物や刺繍、編み物、作品づくりの素材としてお使いいただけます。
また、作品にする前の時間そのものを楽しむ道具としてもおすすめです。

※草木染めの真綿は、摩擦・水濡れ・直射日光などにより、色落ちや色移り、変色が起こる場合があります。
※紡いだ糸を洗う場合は、他のものと分けてやさしくお取り扱いください。
※糸の紡ぎ方には慣れが必要です。最初は太さが不揃いになりますが、その表情も手紡ぎの魅力としてお楽しみください。

こちらの商品は、日本郵便の「ゆうパック 60サイズ」でお届けいたします。
糸紡ぎ棒は木製の道具のため、破損を防ぐよう緩衝材で包み、箱に入れて丁寧に発送いたします。
発送後には、追跡番号をお知らせいたします。

送料はお届け先の地域により異なります。
道具の形と真綿の風合いを守ってお届けするため、簡易包装での発送は行っておりません。

Silk Mawata Spinning Set with Wooden Spindle

A small set for hand-spinning silk mawata into thread.

The wooden spindle is handcrafted by artisans in Bali.
Each piece has a warm wooden texture and a unique carved design on the whorl.

The silk mawata included in this set is dyed at the yamamayu studio using plant-based colors.
Each color has its own subtle expression, and as the fibers are spun, the colors gently blend into a thread with a unique character.

The hand-spun thread can be used for small weaving, embroidery, knitting, or textile works.
It is also a beautiful way to simply spend time with natural materials and handwork.

Plant-dyed fibers may fade, transfer color, or change over time due to friction, moisture, or direct sunlight.
If you wash the hand-spun thread, please wash it separately and handle it gently.
Hand-spinning takes a little practice. The thread may be uneven at first, but this natural variation is also part of the beauty of hand-spun yarn.

Shipping

This item will be shipped by Japan Post Yu-Pack 60 size.
To protect the wooden spindle and the soft texture of the silk mawata, the set will be carefully packed in a box with cushioning materials.
A tracking number will be provided after shipment.
