青を基調に、紫や紺の気配を重ねた、絹と手紡ぎ絹真綿のからみ織りテキスタイルです。

緯糸には絹糸に加え、手紡ぎの絹真綿糸やアタカス蚕の真綿糸を織り込みました。
しっかりとした質感の中に、真綿糸ならではのやわらかな温もりがあります。

からみ織りの透け感と軽やかさに、青の奥行きと野蚕糸の自然な表情が重なり、大地や水、空を思わせる一枚に仕上がっています。

ストールとして身にまとうほか、空間に掛けてテキスタイル作品としてもお楽しみいただけます。

“Earth”

A silk and hand-spun mawata silk leno weave textile, based in blue with layers of violet and deep navy tones.

The weft combines silk yarn with hand-spun mawata silk yarn and Attacus silk mawata yarn.
The textile has a firm yet warm texture, with the gentle fullness that comes from hand-spun silk mawata.

The airy transparency of leno weaving is layered with the depth of blue and the natural character of wild silk, creating a piece that quietly evokes earth, water, and sky.

This piece may be worn as a stole, or displayed in a living space as a textile work.
