山の自然に抱かれながら育つ幻の繭・天蚕（てんさん）。
その糸は、わずかしか採れず、「繊維のダイヤモンド」や「繊維の女王」とも呼ばれるほど大変貴重です。

このストールに使われている天蚕糸は、山梨県市川三郷町の山間の工房で飼育・採繭されたものも使われています。
この地域では昔から、地元の方々が天蚕を育て、糸にする生業がありました。
私たちはその知恵を受け継ぎ、代々守られてきた卵（種）を今も大切に育て続けています。

近年は気候の変化で飼育がますます困難になってきていますが、
それでもこの美しい糸を絶やさぬよう、一繭ずつ向き合い、織り上げています。

本作は、緯糸には染色を施さず、繭本来の翡翠のような自然な色合いをそのまま生かしています。
経糸はごく淡く染め、天蚕の色と調和するやさしい陰影を持たせました。

透けるような光沢、軽やかな手ざわり、自然の尊さが宿る一枚。

〈Tensan(wild cocoon) leno weaving cloth (shawl)〉
In the quiet mountain village of Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi, people have nurtured a rare wild silk tradition for generations. This cloth is woven from Tensan silk, also known as the “diamond of the fiber” — one of the most exquisite and precious natural silks in the world.

Our workshop continues this legacy by raising wild silkworms in the very mountains where this tradition began.
Each cocoon is the result of patient care, passed down through generations using preserved local silkworm eggs.
Due to recent climate changes, cultivating tensan silk has become increasingly challenging — yet we are committed to sustaining this rare and beautiful material.

This cloth is woven entirely by hand on a traditional loom.
The weft threads (Tensan silk) are undyed, preserving their natural, shimmering jade-green color.

The result is a piece that seems to breathe — with a translucent luster, airy softness, and quiet strength.
More than a textile, it is a story of nature, tradition, and timeless elegance.
