淡い薄紅藤色が美しい絹玉繭紬駒撚りぼかし染めの布です。

経糸は玉繭からの紡ぎ糸。2頭以上の蚕が１つの繭を作った繭玉を玉繭といい、形がいびつなので、糸を引く時に節のある糸ができます。そんな希少な玉繭の糸を使い、緯糸は少し撚りを強くし、シャリ感のある布に織り上げました。さらに、刷毛塗りでぼかしを表現した布です。
和洋、さまざまな用途でお使いいただけます。

素材は、絹100%　です。
この布地は、軽やかな質感と高い保湿性、吸湿性を兼ね備えており、肌を優しく包み込みます。和装の際の、ストールや帯揚げとしてもお使いいただけます。

Silk Textile from Tama-mayu Cocoon – Kasuri-dyed in Pale Pink & Deep Red-violet

This piece features a silk textile woven with tama-mayu spun yarns, shaded in delicate tones of pale pink and deep red-violet through a hand-brushed dyeing technique.

The warp threads are spun from tama-mayu cocoons — rare double cocoons created when two or more silkworms spin together. Because of their irregular form, these cocoons produce yarns with natural slubs and unique character.
The weft threads are tightly twisted, creating a crisp texture with a refreshing hand. The fabric is further enhanced by subtle gradations of color, expressed through traditional brush-dyeing.

Lightweight yet rich in body, this textile can be styled in both Japanese and Western contexts — as a stole, an obi accessory, or simply as a refined accent in daily wear.

Silk’s natural qualities of moisture retention and breathability ensure comfort and softness against the skin, making this a versatile and luxurious fabric.
